If the Calgary Stampeders are going to outduel the visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders tonight, it's going to have to be Henry Burris and the rest of the Stampeder offense that gets the job done. There's little doubt the visitors are going to score their share of points against this Calgary defense and they're moving the ball very efficiently to this point. Furthermore unless the home team begins to slack off on these dumb penalties that they've taken thus far tonight, the scoreboard will tilt even further toward the Riders side. Burris hasn't looked particularly sharp to this point either and getting outscored in that opening quarter with the wind at his back is not a good sign. This game right now, spread or no pointspread, is definitely up for grabs and the visitors have looked the sharper of the two clubs to this point.

Three measely fucking points at home with three minutes remaining in the first half?
This is getting ugly and the Calgary offense had better regroup and pick it up bigtime when they come out to play in the second half gents or myself and a few others are going to take a royal fucking beating in our pocketbooks.
Certainly can't blame the Stampeder defense as they've held their own but Burris and the offense have been basically non-existent. I mean what gives anyway? It's not as though the weather is bad or anything along those lines that should be putting a damper on the Calgary offense and their movement of the ball. Brett Ralph may want to change or get rid of that pair of gloves he's wearing for starters on his part.

Also looks as though they've attached themselves to the red flags as swell. These fucking ridiculous penalties are nulifying many good plays on their part as well. For all intensive purposes, this game doesn't look good from a Calgary standpoint. I know it's only one half but to me Henry Burris looks completely out of sink and somewhat rattled tonight and I'm quite surprised at the entire Stampeder overall effort so far because I honestly thought they would have taken it to the undefeated Saskatchewan team here at home in this opening half of play tonight. It's going to take one hell of an overall change in the second half if Stampeder backers are going to win their wagers on this sucker.
To hedge or not to hedge is the fucking question at the half and I'm sure I, like most other Calgary bettors, didn't expect to be in this position at the break?
